基本的な考え方

東京科学大学　生命理工学院　黒田研究室（以下「当研究室」）では、国立大学法人東京科学大学個人情報保護規定とともに、以下の方針に基づきSciBABYアプリ（以下「本アプリ」という）において提供するサービス（情報提供、各種ご意見の受付等）の円滑な運営及び、研究参加説明・同意文書に記載した必要な範囲で、本アプリを利用される皆様（以下「利用者様」）の情報を収集しています。

収集した情報の利用・管理は当研究室が行い利用目的の範囲内で適切に取り扱います。

また、個人情報を外部委託先に取扱わせる場合には、その委託先においても個人情報保護が図られているかについて、責任をもって監督します。

収集する情報の範囲

本アプリでは利用者様が登録された情報を含め、下記情報が保存されます。

１.研究目的の情報
・センサーの種類と識別番号
・お子様のイニシャル（任意のもの）
・お子様の生年月日
・お子様の脈拍・加速度センサデータ
・音声（キャリブレーションモードで録音される10秒の泣き声）
・お子様の状態（寝ている、起きている、泣いているなど）やメモなど、ご自身が入力したデータ

2.その他の情報 
・「Google でログイン」を使用することを許諾することで共有される、名前、メールアドレス、プロフィール写真
・本アプリをご利用いただいた際の内容、ご利用日時および回数、及び本アプリ利用中のオンライン行動など、アプリの利用・閲覧に関連する情報（アクセスログ、利用された端末情報、OSの情報、位置情報、IPアドレス、ブラウザ情報、ブラウザの言語設定など、通信に関する情報を含む） 

利用目的

上記【収集する情報の範囲】-1で収集した情報は、当研究室の研究に利用いたします。（詳しくは、研究参加説明・同意文書をご参照ください）。

上記【収集する情報の範囲】-2で収集した情報は、本アプリにおける利用状況の調査・分析、改良・改善、各種事項の連絡や情報提供、本アプリ利用の簡略化、本アプリ運営上の不具合・トラブル解決、本アプリに関する不正利用防止や安全性確保のために利用いたします。

利用及び提供の制限

本アプリにおいて収集した個人情報の利用及び提供は、上記【利用目的】の達成に必要な範囲内に限定しておりますが、法令に基づく開示要請があった場合、不正アクセス、脅迫等の違法行為があった場合、その他特別の理由のある場合、本人から事前に同意を得ている場合の何れかに該当する場合は学外の第三者に提供することがあります。

安全確保の措置

本アプリを通じて収集した個人情報への不正アクセス、個人情報の紛失、破壊、改ざん及び漏えいの防止その他収集した個人情報の適切な管理のための安全措置を講じます。

自己に関する情報の開示

「問い合わせ」等の投書者による、自己に関する情報の開示の請求については、原則として応じられません。

適用範囲

この個人情報の取扱いは、本アプリにおいてのみ適用されます。当研究室では、以上の本アプリにおける個人情報の取扱いについて、必要に応じて改訂することがあります。

留意事項

Google Analytics サービスの利用について

本アプリでは、利用者の閲覧状況を統計的に把握し、今後のアプリ改善の参考とするため、Google Analytics サービスを利用しています。

Basic Concept

The Kuroda Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as “this laboratory”) at the School of Life Science and Technology, Institute of Science Tokyo, collects information from users (hereinafter referred to as ‘users’) of the SciBABY app (hereinafter referred to as “this app”) based on the following policy and the Tokyo University of Science Personal Information Protection Regulations. This information is used to ensure the smooth operation of services provided through this app (such as information provision and accepting various opinions) and to collect information within the necessary scope as stated in the research participation explanation and consent document.

The Laboratory will handle the collected information appropriately within the scope of the purpose of use.

Furthermore, when outsourcing the handling of personal information to external contractors, the Laboratory will take responsibility for supervising that the contractors also ensure the protection of personal information.

Scope of Information Collected

This app stores the following information, including details registered by the user.

1. Research-purpose information
・Sensor type and identification number
・Child's initials (optional)
・Child's date of birth
・Child's pulse and acceleration sensor data
・Audio (10-second cry recorded during calibration mode)
・Data you input, such as the child's state (sleeping, awake, crying, etc.) and notes

2. Other Information
・Name, email address, profile photo shared when you permit using “Sign in with Google”
・Information related to app usage and browsing (including access logs, device information, OS information, location information, IP address, browser information, browser language settings, and communication-related information) such as content viewed, date/time and frequency of app use, and online behavior during app use  

Purpose of Use

The information collected under the above [Scope of Information Collected] -1 will be used for research conducted by this laboratory. (For details, please refer to the Research Participation Explanation and Consent Document).

The information collected under the above [Scope of Information Collected] -2 will be used for investigating and analyzing usage patterns within this app, making improvements and enhancements, communicating various matters and providing information, simplifying the use of this app, resolving operational issues and troubles, preventing unauthorized use of this app, and ensuring its safety.

Restrictions on Use and Provision

The use and provision of personal information collected through this application is limited to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes stated above.
However, we may provide such information to third parties outside the organization in the following cases:
when disclosure is required by law;
when illegal acts such as unauthorized access or threats occur;
when other special reasons exist;
or when prior consent has been obtained from the individual.

Safety measures

We will implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information collected through this app,
as well as the loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information, and to ensure the proper management of collected personal information.

Disclosure of Information Concerning Oneself

Requests for disclosure of personal
information made by individuals submitting inquiries
or other correspondence will generally not be honored.

Scope of Application

This privacy policy applies solely to this application.
Our laboratory may revise the handling of personal information within this application as necessary.

This app utilizes Google Analytics to statistically track user browsing patterns for reference in future app improvements.
